Abstract submission
Participants are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster communications related to the scientific topics:

5. Genetics
6. Optimization and validation of analytical methods

11. Secondary metabolites of microorganisms and their applications

Important dates
- Deadline for the abstract submission has been extended to April 25, 2023.
- Submitting authors will be advised if their abstract has been accepted by May 5, 2023.
- The presenting author for each abstract must register to attend the conference no later than May 5, 2023.
- Abstracts that do not have a registered and paid presenting author by May 5, 2022 will not be included in the conference program and e-book of abstracts.

1. Download the abstract template. Please note: the abstract should be on one page only.
2. Insert title, authors, affiliations and main text in the specified space and save the file as a .doc or .docx (eg. presentingauthor.doc).
3. Send the abstract to [email protected], indicating whether an oral or a poster presentation is preferred.

Fellowships from the PSE
The Phytochemical Society of Europe (PSE) will award a limited number of travel bursaries for PhD students or early postdoctoral researchers attending the meeting. The awardee should actively participate in the conference, communicating either a short lecture or poster presentation, with preference being given to those selected to make short oral contributions.

Mariola Macias Award 2023
The Phytochemical Society of Europe (PSE) is delighted to announce the Mariola Macias Award 2023, in the memory of Dra. Mariola Macias, an excellent professional, an emergency doctor, a Doctor in Immunology and above all, a great person. She worked intensively not only in clinical functions but also in the research against COVID-19 and was passionate about Natural Products.

PeerJ and Phytochemistry Reviews awards for best poster and oral presentation
The Scientific and organizing committees of the Young Scientist's Meeting Paris 2023 will award the best poster and oral communications (short lecture) performed by participating young researchers during the closing ceremony. An award certificate will be given in recognition of the contribution of the young researchers to the advancement of natural products research.
The winner of each award will be offered the prize of a free publication (via a 100% waived Article Processing Charge) in any PeerJ journal, subject to their submission meeting the PeerJ Criteria for Acceptance, policies and procedures, and data availability requirements. This prize does not guarantee the publication of any submission and all submissions will be subject to PeerJ’s rigorous standard of peer review overseen by PeerJ’s Editorial Team. The winner of each prize will also be offered the opportunity to discuss their research on the PeerJ blog site, bringing more visibility to his/her carrer. On behalf of the journal Phytochemistry Reviews, the scientific committee will also award the best poster presentation with a 200 EUR e-book voucher to the Springer shop. |
